What is a UPN/UAC Profile

What is UPN Steel Profile

UPN or UNP is the short form for standardized duct sections according to EN 10365 with tolerances according to EN 10365. Stainless steel UPN profiles are used in all kinds of industrial applications, machinery and equipment construction.

The use of stainless steel profiles is characterized by high design flexibility, fast and cost-effective construction (with the possibility of prefabrication in steel production). Stainless steel UPN profiles are mostly produced from scrap and can be recovered again after use, thus conserving new resources.

Austenitic grades according to EN 10088-3:1D are mainly used for stainless steel structures: 1.4301 (304), 1.4307 (304L), 1.4401 (316), 1.4404 (316L) and 1.4571.

What is UAC Steel Profile

UAC profiles are a short steel form for standardized channel sections according to EN 10365 with tolerances according to EN 10365. Stainless steel UAC profiles are used in all kinds of industrial applications, machinery and equipment construction.
